Warriors & Writings is a print & play, roll & write, fantasy dungeon crawler. The Sword, Spell & Squid expansion includes the following new content:
The Bladecaster is a versatile fighter that balances the use of magic and martial skills instead of specializing in either. Like the Mage, they use mana to power some of their actions and talents, but they regain spent mana by making melee attacks instead of by walking. They have a mix of talents, some of which enhance their melee attacks, while others add ranged and area-of-effect options.
In The River Rush, your boat is rushing down the river towards the maw of a kraken. The giant squid is trying to tear the boat apart with its tentacles before you can reach the deadly beast. And these armored tortoises are just getting in your way! This encounter features a boat which is a movable terrain feature that can also be destroyed
